The Inbetween

Indeed, the hidden and the manifest give birth to each other.” -Lao Tzu

There she sat between the realms of life and death. Waiting at the perpetual crossroads.

A journey taken by so many, yet she was certain there was more. ‘Who am I really’ she thought to herself.

If my soul is eternal and I can see pieces of my old self, why can’t I just be someone new? Why do I have to return to this reality? Coming back to this same form, this same fate again and again? Why does the physical realm feel like a trap? It’s tempting and adventurous, but distracting and impermanent at the same time.

If this eternal self is nameless, faceless and without description why must I as a person seek to fit one exact form? Is not the true self an inexplicable mastery of inevitable potential through formless pure essence?

Why do these thoughts race and go, why can the mind, emotional and astral realms go beyond form yet my consciousness has to reclaim an identity time and time again.

Yet beyond that, one finds themselves often truly “self”less in these astral states, beyond any limiting experiences placed upon them by society.

It seems every time you take this journey within, there are always two clear trails… one is the path of desire and the other is the path of the unknown.

Most often attachments lead the way even in this blissful states of inner expression and discovery because most of us are seeking pleasure in the sense of emotional satisfaction. If not seeking some kind of sensory pleasure, one could ponder the quest of inner mental knowledge, looking at the routes of all wisdom.. hoping to discover some of the secrets of the universe perhaps.

Well why not choose nothing? Why not forget the self. Forget all the things you think you want or need. Let go of what you think you need to discover or reveal to be more than you already are.

Enter instead into

the nameless eternal void.

It is not self.

Self implies separateness.

This is pre-self & pre-creation.

It is everything, yet nothing.

It never was, yet will always be.

It is the primordial root

and eternal destiny of all.

You are enough as you are. It’s time to embrace the unknown.
